High Tide Övelgönne

Yesterday, Hamburg experienced the first autumn-winds driven high tide. I had the opportunity to have some time alone with my camera in Övelgönne area just 30 minutes after the peak. Also I had the luck that the weather was changing from a more or less sunny afternoon towards some rain and also the sun was already quite low. This circumstance made me decide to go for some HDR-shots. I found out that the superior technique compared to the in-camera HDR-function is the post-processing on a leveled exposed single RAW picture. Following, my favorite 7 shots:

As I could see by the wet area, the paved waterside was just overrated and the Elbe-beach was completely covered by water – „Xaver“ last year (click here for a direct link) was even 2 meters higher!
